Library media center resources are meant to: support the curriculum, to encourage research, and provide a wide selection of books for leisure reading to interest students from kindergarten to eighth grade. The library collection has most of Dr. Seuss' books, Caldecott Medal winners (marked with two gold stars) and honor books (marked with one gold star). Many Newberry and Coretta Scott King winners are a part of the collection. These will be marked as soon as the new books are processed and cataloged. Reference and research needs can be met with both print and on-line sources. Recommended on-line sources are found through the Alabama Virtual Library.
Most requested new books by students - sports biographies and books from these series: Hank the cowdog, Junie B. Jones, American Girl and Magic Tree House.
